Completion Ceremony for STEP and Local Semester Program

On August 7, 2008, the Completion Ceremony for the Short-Term Exchange Program and
the Daegu Local Semester Program was held in the Conference Room on campus.

16 exchange students from schools in China, France, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Poland and Russia participated in and completed the 2008 Spring/Summer Semester. President Maekawa presented the participants with a Certificate of Completion.

As a highlight to the ceremony, the international exchange students gave speeches on their life and experiences in Hiroshima in Japanese.
